1. Who we are

NexaTechNG provides remote data annotation and labeling, contract software engineering, and professional training for talent and businesses worldwide. We operate remotely and serve users globally.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Application & onboarding: name, email, phone, country, time zone, languages, education, skills, years of experience, experience level, project descriptions, GitHub/portfolio/LinkedIn URLs, CV/résumé, career track (SWE or Data), and consent choices.
• Email verification: we send a one-time code to confirm your email address during signup.
• Work & training: assessment results, bootcamp progress, task performance, quality scores, and communications with our team.
• Client enquiries: business contact details and project requirements submitted via products.nexatechng.com or email.
• Support: messages you send to our email addresses or social channels.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser type, device information, and approximate location derived from IP.
• Pages visited, referral source, and interaction with our site (via standard server logs and, where enabled, analytics).
• Session and security data (e.g. CSRF tokens) when you use the onboarding application.

2.3 Documents & files

CVs and résumés you upload (PDF, DOC, DOCX) are stored securely on our servers for recruitment and matching purposes.

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

• Process and review applications for SWE and Data tracks.
• Verify identity via email and prevent fraud or duplicate accounts.
• Match your profile to current and future job listings, bootcamps, project queues, and client assignments on our platform — including roles beyond your initial track where your skills qualify (with your explicit consent at application).
• Deliver free training, orientation, calibration, and paid task workflows.
• Communicate about application status, bootcamp dates, project placement, and platform updates.
• Operate, secure, and improve our website and internal systems.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Provide data labeling and engineering services to clients (contributor work product is handled under separate client agreements; personal contact data is not sold).

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location, we rely on: consent (e.g. profile reuse, marketing where opted in), contract (performing application and work arrangements), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, platform improvement), and legal obligation.

5. Profile reuse & talent matching

When you apply, we ask for explicit consent to store and reuse your application materials (profile, skills, CV, and related data) to evaluate you for any eligible role on the NexaTechNG platform, including future listings, cross-track opportunities, bootcamps, and project assignments. You may withdraw consent for future matching by emailing onboarding@nexatechng.com; withdrawal does not affect processing already performed lawfully before withdrawal.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers (hosting, email delivery, database, security) under confidentiality obligations.
• Clients only as needed for project staffing — typically anonymised or minimum necessary profile data, not your full application without purpose.
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this policy.

7. International transfers

We operate globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to protect data regardless of location.

8. Retention

We retain application data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for matching, legal, and audit purposes — typically up to 24 months after last activity unless a longer period is required by law or ongoing engagement. CVs and verification logs are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, hashed verification codes, and restricted upload directories. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact onboarding@nexatechng.com with your request. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Cookies & similar technologies

Our site may use essential session cookies for onboarding security. We do not use invasive third-party advertising cookies on the main application flow. Analytics, if enabled, help us understand site usage in aggregate.

12. Children

Our services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted data.

13. Disclaimers

• Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship or guarantee work, income, or selection.
• Training is provided free of charge; paid work depends on calibration, availability, and client demand.
• We are not responsible for third-party sites linked from our platform (e.g. GitHub, LinkedIn, products.nexatechng.com).

14. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may be communicated via email or site notice.
